Environment impact assessment
In November 1994 the Environment Protection Agency's Environment Assessment Branch (40 Blackall St, Barton ACT 2600) issued a discussion paper entitled "Public Review of the Commonwealth Environment Impact Assessment Process" and invited submissions. The Society lodged a submission, dated January 1995.
Unit title arrangements in the ACT
In December 1994 the ACT Department of The Environment, Land and Planning (GPO Box 1908, Canberra ACT 2601) issued a discussion paper entitled "Review of Unit Title Arrangements in the Australian Capital Territory" and invited submissions. The Society lodged a submission, dated February 1995.
Beverage container recycling
In May 1994 the ACT Legislative Assembly published a draft Container Recycling Bill and the Assembly's Standing Committee on Conservation, Heritage and Environment was directed to hold an inquiry into the subject. A copy of the Society's submission dated July 1994 is available from the PPAS secretariat (polsoc@mpx.com.au).
