Public Safety Committee

The Public Safety Committee is responsible for issues related to the health and welfare of the residents of Godfrey. These include police protection, traffic control, property maintenance, misdemeanor matters, business and regulatory licenses, health and safety regulations, etc.

The committee meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Committee members are: Gary Ayres (Chairperson), Maurice "Moe" Juhlin, Chris Kane and Jerry Lagemann. Click on the "Village Officials" button for information on how to contact a trustee.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for all of the financial matters of the village. The committee prepares the annual budget, determines taxes to be imposed or modified, approves all expenditures, appropriates allocations, etc.

The committee meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall. All of the Village Trustees are members of the Finance Committee. Click on the "Village Officials" button for information on how to contact a trustee.
