Vigil for Peace in the Balkans

Every Thursday at 8:15 pm in front of the Liberal Party Headquarters at 10 St. Mary street, Toronto

This vigil has been taking place since the middle of April. It is organized by a coalition of peace groups of the greater Toronto Area. The group has prepared a statement based on three points:

Canada and NATO stop the boming
Work through the UN for a peacefully negotiated just settement
Canada out of NATO

June 5 International Day of protest - Emergency Mobilization to Stop the War Events planned in Washington and other cities across North America including Toronto.

Anti-War Teach-In

June 20 Action-Oriented Teach-In 12:00
The teach-in will be separated into 3 sections: a plenary session, numerous workshops followed by reports back to the auditorium and discussion. Each session will balance information with action-oriented suggestions for building a broad-based opposition to the war.

We will keep you updated on details. Please come and visit us often.

* Every weeknight outside the US Consulate
* Every Saturday Student Protest 2pm On University Avenue (north of Queen) across from the U.S. Embasy.
* Every Sunday 2 pm from Queen's Park to the US Consulate / Nathan Philips Square
