LAOTIAN POLITICAL FACTION PLANS A POLITCAL
CAMPAIGN EVENT IN LAOS

A source of information from Pak Beng,
northern Laos said a Laotian political party or a faction #302 in Laos has
planned a big political campaign event and a new year celebration in five to
six major cities throughout Laos, including Vientiane within the next four
months, if time allow.
This party was organized in Phongsaly
Province and supported by the large minority groups nationwide, especially the
Hmong, Khmu, and Karen. The lowland Lao is the main power of this party.
The party is a pro-China and pro-Capitalist
country. Its financial support comes from the group of Chinese Kuamington in
Burma (Myanmar) and abroad. The source
did mention that the party is looking forward to get support form outside
Laotian political organizations, especially in the United States.
The party secretly criticizes Vientiane's
policy of bringing foreign troops into Laos during a peaceful time. This makes
the Laotian people frustrate and frighten. It caused the downfall of the
country.
Since the Vietnamese troops entered Laotian
soil, Vientiane started having trouble until today. Laos lost its confidence
for the country reconstruction and increasing division among minorities and
party line. Foreign countries lose their trust, faith, and confidence for Laos
in term of investment, loan, construction, and including aids.
People live in tense and suspicious without
peace and friendship. Corruption is everywhere and in every level of government.
The country is in turmoil.
Secret police and military forces become
Laos' top law and they use their powers to dictate and control over the people.
Because of foreign troops that occupied Laos,
it makes the Laotian people divided apart. Indeed the Laotian people have this
problem today.
This party will focus mainly on the policy of
reconstruction of peace, democracy, and the country's integrity.
The party will ask and signal Hanoi to pull
out its troops from Laos as quickly as possible to ensure the Laotian people
and foreign investors of the possibility of endangerment. If Vientiane and
Hanoi resist, or insist in anyway, and are not willing to cooperate, the party
will call on the International Community to investigate and will take a
necessary action to make them comply with the International Law, which Vietnam
has invaded Laos. Laos is at peace
without war why foreign troops are pouring into its own soil without the
Laotian people's consent. "This is a violation of Laos' sovereignty,"
the source said. Or otherwise, the party will take a necessary action to remove
some of the Laotian top hard-liners from their positions or to abolish the
entire party, that is the Communist Party, and establish a new democratic party
or parties to replace the old one.
The party's coampaign is now underway
throughout local, provincial, and national level for support and vote. The
party will try to hold this campaign event in five to six major cities at the
same time from the north to the south in a peaceful way, if time allow. There
will be three cities in the north and three cities in the south, including
Vientiane, the source revealed.
