PPP in Poland

This form of public procurement is relatively new in Poland and it underwent its second unveiling since 2005, when the first legislation has been passed, but proved too demanding and too complex to serve regional procurement and it encountered rather negative political climate that made it obsolete until 2008 when the second act on Public-Private Partnership was passed by the Parliament on the 22nd of November with not a single vote abstaining from voting or against was recorded.
The new legislation promises to be more flexible and liberal leaving to the parties most of the particular details concerning their mutual relationship, that were subject to the earlier regulation. The Polish language version of Polish PPP Law is available and the English language version of Polish PPP Law will be available as soon as the law has been published.

The most important features of the new PPP law have been illustrated in the latter part of the presentation prepared on the request by The Polish Embassy in Berlin and The Industry and Trade Chamber in Berlin.
