Most of what goes on in the government that is unlawful or illegal is re-worked by the spin doctors at CNN and turned into something else, such as patriotism. In this way, CNN is the main propaganda tool of the CIA. CNN's entire purpose is to control the opinions of the Americian people. People aren't allowed to have free thought or free speach. That would be too risky, and could lead to the destruction of the Americian system.
CNN was behind the whole Gulf War, for example. Or to be more exact, CNN was another piece on the CIA's chess board that was the Gulf War.
