This handy site lists every police, sheriff, university
and corporate law enforcement agency in Virginia. Can't seem to find anyone
with a particular patch? Try writing the department directly. This list
contains the addresses as well.
U.S.
Gazetteer
This site is useful in searching for towns, cities
and places with a particular name. Run by the Census Bureau you can
use it to see if there are any towns with the same name as yours.
Then look up the town to see if they have a police/sheriff's department
and look for their patch.
