Delta Phi Epsilon was formed "for the purpose of promoting good fellowship among sorority women...to help...in acquiring knowledge, appreciation, discriminating judgement and a true feeling of sisterly love, through the interaction of sympathetic and friendly natures."
- Our Founders, 1917

Delta Phi Epsilon is an organization of women founded on the principles of developing interpersonal bonds of friendship that will continue beyond one's college experience. It is a bond to be built on sisterhood, pride in the tradition of the sorority, and support for one another.

D Phi E is one of three sororities on Campus.
