The Illinois Residence Hall Association, a.k.a. IRHA, is the state-wide organization for residence hall government student leaders. Comprised of member schools, both small and large, IRHA serves as a forum for the exchanging and sharing of information. It also serves as an excellent route for student leadership development. Education, Learning, and Leadership is the name of this game!! "The Voice", IRHA's official newsletter is distributed monthly to all members, and contains highlights and current happenings on campuses throughout the state. IRHA also recognizes, each month, through the use of "Of The Month" Awards, its outstanding student leaders for their efforts, committment, and dedication towards making residence hall life an enjoyable place for everyone. Each year at the Annual Leadership Conference, schools come together to present various educational, social, and leadership/personal development programs that have been succesful on their campus. Also, each year at the Annual Conference, member schools are recognized for their accomplishments and achievements with various school awards. Watch out for more information about the IRHA 24th Annual State Conference - to be hosted by Millikin University, in the year 2001. It will be an exciting and awesome conference jam packed with lots fun and high energy school spirit! |
