Who is Juliebomber?

Let me introduce myself. My name is Julie Szmyd. My friends like to call me the "Juliebomber." For right now, I guess all I have to support my nickname is my INTENSITY, my hatred of the CWRUnet, and my fascination with Alcatraz, but maybe someday I'll hack my way into something really big. . . I'm a senior computer science major at Case Western Reserve University. For those of you who haven't heard of it--no, it's NOT a military school, and yes, it does have a rather long name. It might not be the greatest party school in the world, but I like it a lot even though the workload is always heavy and the curriculum is quite challenging.

What fuels the Juliebomber's INTENSITY?

I've always been a goal oriented individual, and I'm really interested in anything that has to do with motivation. My whole dorm room wall is covered with motivational pictures and quotes. I'm currently working on building up my collection of inspirational quote books. Before long, some of my friends started noticing, and now they consider me a source of inspiration. Hobbies?

I enjoy running, swimming, cycling, weight lifting, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, rollerblading, and playing tennis. I workout just about every day, and if I can't workout on any given day, it's just a bad day. My favorite sports to watch are professional baseball and football. My favorite teams are the Steelers, the Broncos, the Colorado Rockies, and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

What is Juliebomber up to these days?

Well, I'm eagerly awaiting my graduation day. After graduation, I'm going to Australia for 2 weeks to visit a friend who is studying abroad there. Then, I'm moving to Colorado to work for Hewlett Packard. Hopefully, my loan will be approved, and I'll be moving into the brand new townhouse that I have a contract for!
