Blazon of Arms Quarterly, first and fourth or, a lion rampant gules, armed azure and crowned of the field; second and third argent, three trefoils stemmed as one, issuant from a mount vert. (Shield divided in four parts. The first and fourth are gold with a lion rampant red, crowned gold. The second and third are silver with three trefoils on a single stalk, issuing from a mound of ground, all green.)

Crest The lion between a vol couped, the dexter gules and argent, the sinister or and sable. (The lion in red, between wings divided in half, the right wing red and silver, the left wing gold and black.)

Translation The lion, king of beasts, traditionally denotes strength and courage. The trefoil is a royal charge which indicates valour, faith, and wisdom.

  • Lion- emblem of deathless courage
  • Rampant- in fighting position
  • Crowned- symbolizes the acquisition or defense of some earthly crown, in hope of inheriting one in a happier world
  • Trefoil- three leaved grass that symbolizes perpetuity or that the just man shall never wither
  • Wings- symbols of celerity and sometimes of protection
Colors
  • Argent (Silver)--The metal argent represents peace and security. It also signifies everlasting charity and conscience.
  • Gules (Red)--Military valor and courage. Red is the warrior's colour and symbolizes a desire to serve one's King and Country to the utmost of his ability.
  • Or (Gold)--The metal Or is the emblem of generosity, elevation of mind and untarnished honour.
  • Vert (Green)--The colour vert symbolizes hope and joy.
  • Azure (Blue)--The colour azure denotes loyalty and truth and also signifies Divine Contemplation and Goodness.
