Asado en la Escuela Naval: Los integrantes de la Promoción 92 de la Armada Argentina se reunió en la ENM el 19/04/97, para compartir un asado, en compañía de las respectivas esposas. Es parte de una costumbre que data de años, de reunirnos dos veces por año, para experimentar momentos de gratos recuerdos y camaradería.

En ésta ocasión, la reunión se celebró en Río Santiago, para poder disponer de unas cuantas horas de informalidad y espacios abiertos. La llegada de la lancha fue sobre el mediodía y la foto que ilustra ésta Pagina fue tomada al desembarcar en el Puesto No. 4 y reunirnos frente al Edificio de Oficiales de la Escuela.

Deberíamos contar que alguno de los que están en cuclillas luego no pudieron pararse?. Bueno, casi, casi, pero por ésta vez, hay que decir que zafaron todos. La próxima no se...(no se va a acuclillar nadie..)

Efectuamos una recorrida de una hora por las instalaciones de la ENM, rememorando viejas anécdotas que surgían por doquier, algunos Profesores amables o de los otros, situaciones divertidas, bromas, etc. Nuestra memoria estaba viva de nuevo....

Luego compartimos empanadas y vino y un excelente asado, servido en el Quincho de Oficiales. Un buen rato de sobremesa, el infaltable brindis por el reencuentro, la promesa de volver a reunirnos pronto, algo más de recorrida por la Escuela, un café y a partir de regreso.

Un hermoso paseo que nos permitió disfrutar de unas seis horas de camaradería, amistad y una muestra de unión de los compañeros y esposas. A pesar del tiempo transcurrido y los caminos distintos que cada uno va tomando, subsiste un espíritu de unión que es altamente valorado por todos.

On this occasion, the meeting was celebrated in our Rio Santiago Naval Academy, in order to have an opportunity to share several hours of informality in an open place. We arrived at noon by boat. The photo, which is above this text, was taken just as we arrived in front of the Officials ENM Building.

Should we tell you that the ones that were crouching could not stand up afterwards?. Well almost anyways, they could stand this time. Next time tho, I don't know... (nobody is going to want to be the one crouching ...).

We took a one hour walk around the ENM, while remembering old times, some nice or ugly Professors, amusing situations, jokes, etc. Our memories were alive again...

Afterwards we shared some "empanadas" (meat pies) with wine and an excellent barbecue, served at the Officials Ranch. We got together as much as possible, made some toasts to celebrate our reunion and promised each other to meet again soon. Then, with another hour visiting other buildings of the ENM, the swimming pool, the gymnasium, we drank some coffee and were prepared to leave.

It was a beautiful meeting, which allowed us to share six or more hours of fruitful interchange. To increase our friendship and to show how, despite the time passed and the different ways of life each one has, it remains a unified spirit between us and our families. We appreciate that very much.
