I compose with Cakewalk 6.0 on a 486DX4 100Mhz PC with a Sound Blaster 16 and an Alesis HR-16 MIDI drum machine. Not the most impressive computer hardware. It makes it difficult sometimes when your sound card's instruments don't sound like what they say they are. I play that instrument on the index page. My resume. Thanks to a few good friends (Brian Muth, Aaric McGuire, Ryan Wood) I have been blessed with the opportunity to have music professionally recorded at the Recording Workshop near Chillecothe, Ohio. Some of the fallout from those sessions resides here (in chronological order, beginning with the most recent). Due to the irresistable sound quality to filesize ratio most of what you'll see is in the mp3 format. I'd suggest listening through WinAmp. Unfortunately, if you have an older (i.e. 486) machine (like me) it may not be fast enough to uncompress and playback the stereo files. I hate to put MIDI files up here because I don't trust other people's sound cards (nor my own for that matter). When I do I'll try and put accurate mp3 representations of them as well. If you have a decent sound card (e.g. SB32 or 64) the MIDI files shouldn't sound *too* bad.
