This page is specially dedicated to the Slam Dunk fans of our class, which include Peiyu, Shuyu, Elizabeth, Yining, Josephine, Yee Yian, Yujuan and Me! This Slam Dunk anime consists of the following basketball stars: Sakuragi, the main character, Rukawa, his rival, Kogure, Mitsui, Miyagi and Akagi, the captain.

The story revolves round Sakuragi, who had many failed relationships before he met the sister of the Akagi. It was because of her that he joined the basketball team, but secretly, she was admiring the all-popular Rukawa, who even has fans who formed a cheerleading team for him.

Akagi realises Sakuragi's potential, but decides to wait till the time is ripe before he teaches him his all-powerful slam dunk skill. Sakuragi was really impatient and treats himself as the basketball champion since he had 'defeated' Akagi before in a match.

Then there is Mitsui, who always got into fights till he finally came back to the team. He had won an MVP (Wanna find out what that means? Read the anime!) award, and is 2 grades higher than Sakuragi and Rukawa.

The Shohoku team has a wonderful coach who helps all his players, spiritually, to gain back their confidence and help them realise their maximum potential.
