ok, i'll have to admit this...i've become a buffy the vampire slayer tv show watcher. my watching and obsessive behaviors aren't comparable to my x-files fanaticism, but it's certainly growing. i'm so into alyson hannigan, aka "willow". her character is the cutest thing i've ever watched...and then add her romance with the shy and charming "tara" (played by amber benson)...man! and tonight's epi! add that pair with "miss kitty fantastico" = cuteness galore. (you had to watch the recent show to understand this i guess.) gawd! i'm such a sucker for cuteness! they're adorable together, tara and will. hmm...yes, i've become a willow/tara shipper...

and what's up with "the matrix" elements shown in the next week's epi preview? ha. actually, it's kinda nice to see how a movie can have influence on future movies/tv shows/etc. well, those movies also borrowed other influences from past movies...kung-fu movie influence in "the matrix"..."north by northwest" had some influence in some scenes in the x-files movie (the running/chasing in the corn crop thing)...and yada yada yada...

wow. it's been 2 months since i've touched this site. i went to tucson, arizona, last month to visit my dear friend liz. i haven't seen her in a year, and she's one those friends i could hang out with without having to talk a lot, but still be able to convey feelings through looks and stuff. it's weird. ha. she was gracious enough to let me crash there for a week. ha. for the most part i think i watched a lot of movies. (apparently there isn't much to do in tucson...ha! well, it's a lil' more exciting than ff) she had a lot of dvd's! wow. i'm in love with her audio/video system. it was great to see her in her military element. we became really close friends in my last year in high school, and have been in contact on and off through the years...and she's still there for me, and i'm still there for her. it's totally kewl, i think everyone should have steady friends that see you through your changes...and still be there for you. it's nice.

hmm...in other news, er, well, geez, i start school soon...so yeah, that's it. just my tucson trip and school starting up soon. i'm sure more will come later...

hey hey hey! it's a wonderful day! it's my friend, tiffany's birthday! and it's IWD - international women's day! woo-hoo. if you guys didn't know...march is women's month. kewl. anyhoo...if some of you guys haven't heard...i got into usf! no, not university of south florida...ha. i got into the university of san francisco for their master's entry program for nursing. so, more school for me...and more debt shall i be after i graduate!
anyhoo, to other stuff. my gracious friend, tina, taped "if these walls could talk 2" (itwct2) for me since i don't have hbo here at home. thank you tina! i liked it a lot. it's a lot less heart-wrenching than the first "if these walls could talk", the one that looked at abortion. this current itwct2 features the lesbian experience in america. my favorite portion is the 1970's one. i love chloe sevigny. i like every movie i've seen her in..."kids", "last days of disco", and "boys don't cry". she is so versatile. and she always has this subtlety of acting that makes her so great. maybe it's her eyes. i don't know. but i think i'm just so into her. gawd! but, yeah...watch itwct2 if you ever have the chance.
ok...i'm off to watch these movies i rented: "eyes wide shut", "a clockwork orange" (hmmm..kubrick night!) and an indie film, "manny and lo". movies! movies! movies!

woo-hoo! i've finished the shout outs page. i've accomplished SOMETHING with this damn page. it's like a long weekend for me. since we have the holiday on monday, my saturday class is also out! woo-hoo! i can sleep in! ha. but, yeah, i'm trying to finish all of these things i've started, but haven't finished. i need to read a couple of these books i've started...i need to finish "the beauty myth" by naomi wolfe, and a couple of texts i bought but never cracked open. and i need to make more minidisc mixes! i know i won't have time when i go to school, well, assuming i do get in! but, we'll see. and i'll try to read a couple chapters from my sociology book...darn! homework!

i'm sore as hell today. i played basketball at the gym thursday, and had older women and these teenaged girls run circles 'round me. i had this idea that i was good at basketball...i should rephrase that, i'm good at assisting and getting rebounds...somehow, i can't dribble for sh*t, and my shooting isn't all that. but, i like being aggressive, and being allowed to...but some of those women out there are mean! grrrrr!!!
