Grade School & Junior High School

Tema Parents Association School is the institution from which I obtained my Basic Education Schools' Examination Certificate. I was there for ten years, grade school through Junior High {Just in case some of you are thinking I was that 18 year old 9th grader in your classrooms}.

High School

I am privileged to have attended one of Ghana's premier educational institutions. The oldest boarding school in the country, Mfantsipim School is where I studied until I transferred to United Township High School (UT) in East Moline, Illinois. My experiences at both Mfantsipim and UT were invaluable.

College

I am currently enrolled in the college of engineering at Virginia Tech. My major is Chemical Engineering. It took me a year and a half to finally decide on a major. Initially, I was a computer engineering major but after an EPIPHANY, I decided to switch majors. I don't regret it so far because I'm loving it. Yes, it's tough...very tough but I love it and that's what matters.

After Obtaining My B . S . What Next?

Well , ideally , I would like work for about two or three years before going to grad school for a masters degree in either Industrial Systems Engineering or Business. Where would I like to do my masters program? Again , ideally , an IVY League college, University of Virginia or a college out West ( hint - hint Cal Poly ) but there are equally good colleges elsewhere I am looking at right now. Hey , it's never too late to start thinking ahead . . . ask my Kwabotwe Crew. As some of my close friends know, I am a very very indecisive person almost all the time so I wasn't the least bit surprised when thoughts of getting a doctorate in psychology came up in this wonderful brain of mine . . . so I looked into the whole field and decided to check out Industrial / Organizational Psychology as on option for graduate school. And for that, the University of Minnesota has a very reputable program . . . what are the odds that I'd transfer there. But as I said, that's just another thought . . . stay tuned
