Phi Mu Prepares for Rush

Rush is a very important time of year, as any Greek knows. Phi Mu is preparing to make this year's fall rush the best ever. Months ago, skits were chosen for our theme and pref parties, and a project was chosen for our philanthropy party. Members have been practicing hard to memorize lines and learn songs. Rush practices, lead by Membership Director Erin Dell Fyock, have concentrated on learning the skits and, of course, on conversation. Getting ready for rush is hard work, as any sister will admit. But, it will all be worth it on Bid Day, when Mu Chapter will welcome its new sisters with open arms.

May Day: A Beautiful End to a Wonderful Year

On May 3rd, Brenau University held its annual May Day festivities as an end to the school year. Phi Mu's members participated in Class Day activities and watched as the May Court was presented. Phi Mu's May Day theme was "We're Still the One" (from a popular Shania Twain song). Mu Chapter hosted a lunch for our parents, as well as a reception for alumnae, during which our collegiate members learned much about the chapter's history.

Thank you to the Gainesville Alumnae Chapter for all their help!!
The spring semester grades are in and Phi Mu has the second highest GPA on campus! Way to go Phi Mu ladies!
