A little bit about me!

Right now, I am a Physician's Assistant Student at Central Michigan University and am in my year of clinical rotations in the Traverse City area. I used to work for the Cardiovascular Services Department at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland MI. I mostly worked midnights running EKG's (or ECG's), setting up a few other tests, and doing a bunch of paperwork getting the department caught up and ready for the next day. If I had a day shift, I would be running stress tests instead, which I learned to do in school for my bachelors.

I graduated from Central Michigan University on May 7th, 2000. I received a BS while majoring in Health Fitness in Preventative and Rehabilitative Programs and minoring in Athletic Coaching and Music and am graduating in May, 2000. I was the President of the Nu Pi Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia for the 2000-2001 school year. In addition, I was in Eta Alpha Epsilon for a year. Eta Alpha Epsilon is a professsional Health Fitness Fraternity here on campus. I was at Albion College in Albion, MI, during the '95-'96 school year, my freshman year.

I was also a member of the Cross-Country and Track & Field teams here at CMU. We won the 1999 MAC Cross-Country Championship. In 1998 we finished 20th overall at the NCAA National Championships and had two guys, Ritchie Brinker and Ryan Watson, become All-Americans.

I am originally from Traverse City, MI, where I have lived until I left for school. My father retired in 2000, but my mother is still working to support my father's remodeling efforts! I have a younger brother named Chris, who who is in the Army stationed in South Korea, and an older half-brother, David, who lives in Texas with his wife and two little girls.
