The Mu
Lambda Fraternity and the Mu Lambda Sorority
are based in the University of the East Ramon
Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Metro Manila,
Philippines and were founded excusively for the
College of Medicine. Established in 1963 and 1968
respectively, both organizations were formed with academic excellence
and social service
as their main thrusts. At present, Mu Lambda boasts
of a roster of medical doctors and students excelling in
their fields of endeavor.
Through its years of existence, Mu
Lambda has become a valuable
organization in the UERM Medical Institution. Each
year it sponsors various socio-civic
activities duly recognized by the
university, and actively participated by its students
and employees. Among the events are the Christmas
Carolfest, Freshman Cocktails, 3 on 3 Basketball
Tournament, Women's Volleyball Tournament, Several
Blood Donation Programs and Medical Missions among
others.
Now on its 37th year of existence, Mu
Lambda has been true to
its commitment of delivering health
and medicine as a basic service to every Filipino,
and the legacy established by its forefathers lives
