One of the earliest propounders of KM/IC, Karl-Erik Sveiby's page. It contains his complete book, earlier writings, and contribution by many others.

Knowledge Management & Workflow
This site, maintained at INSEAD's server, is supposed to be a comprehensive assortment of links related to "Knowledge Management, Organizational Learning, Business Modeling, Workflow, Processes, etc." - Actually it is more than just that, and is a good place to start the search.

KM Resources
A very useful and huge resource page maintained by Fred Nickols, which contains lins to some of the most relevant articles on Knowledgement Management, Learning Organisations, Communities of Practices and Intellectual Capital.

An online magazine for IT executives. Its archives contain some very interesting articles and cases on KM and Intellectual Capital.

Perspective on Business Innovation
Ernst & Young's online journal on management theory and practice. Each issue is devoted to one theme, e.g., Knowledge Management, e-commerce, etc.

Fast Company Archives
This online magazine for "The New Economy" contains some useful articles and case studies on topics such as Learning, The Digital Domain, New Logic of Competition, New ways of Working, Change, etc.

IBM's Think Magazine

Journal of Systemic Knowledge Management
This journal started and ended in January 1998 with one single issue. But the 10-15 articles available on this site are worth reading.

Knowledge Management Magazine
Useful resource for business intelligence and e-business. There are some interesting articles and cases in the past issues which are available online.

Business & Strategy
This is magazine is "sponsored" by Booz, Allen & Hamilton. An excellent collection of articles, cases, interviews, and research notes.

The McKinsey Quarterly

UNISYS Exec Mag
The archives have some excellent articls on IT, e-business and Knowledge Management.

Upside Today
This is more a technology magazine featuring current news and articles. Some of the articles in the archives are usefull.

Information Strategy Online
This is not exactly a KM, Learning or IC Resource, but an IT magazine. Moreover, except for the current issue, the archives can be accessed on subscription. But often one comes across articles of interest.

The Antidote
Each issue of this magazine deals with one topic. The magazine needs subscription, but some sample articles (from the current and previous issues) are available on the site.

Visit this site to know how Dr Reddy's Lab does its "Intangible Accounting". This company puts numbers by calculating Calculated Intangible Value (CIV), Market Value Added (MVA), Brand Valuation (BV), Accounting of Human Resources (AHR), Economic Value Added (EVA), and Total Shareholders' Return (TSR).

ACASIT's Knowledge Management Case Studies
This is an excellent site with links to online KM case studies on companies such as Microsoft, HP, Caterpiller, British Petroleum, etc.

Knowledge Inc.'s Case Studies
Another site which contains useful case studies on KM - including companies such as HP, Sun Microsystems, E&Y, Chevron, etc.

Colloborative KM at St Lukes
An interesting case study how of St Luke, an advertising company, promoted greater knowledge sharing through facilitating collaboration. It highlights that success of knowledge sharing is as much a function of culture and politics as it is of technology. You can even calculate your company's potential success at knowledge sharing.

Smart enough to Unlearn
Learning presupposes that unlearning has occurred. Mostly it doesn't. In this Fast Company article 12 experts describe their own "unlearning" experiences. Interesting reading

Performance Measures for the New Economy
Complete 1993 report of the Ontario Technology Fund Task Force which developed a review report of accounting practices for the New Economy. Proposes new accounting model to take care of knowledge-based businesses.

The Economics & Politics of Information Management
Paul Strassman's article on measuring the productivity of Information Management. Very useful since most KM programmes heavily rely on IT (and often assume that investments in IT infrastructure would automatically create value).

The value of Knowledge Capital
Another of Strassmann's articles, which not only describes why knowledge capital should be measured, but also how it can be done.

Intellectual Capital Management Self-Assessment Guide
This is an interesting page, maintained by the Canadian Performance Reporting Initiative. It provides an online form to assess the IC for one's company/ organisation.

Measures That Matter
An E&Y study of non-financial measures which put value on the intangibles of the organisation. This study based on survey of research analysts and investors identifies a group of measures which have demonstrated impact on share valuation. Downloadable pdf file.
