OLD NEWS IS STILL GOOD NEWS!

Well,
the week has flown by rather quickly for me. I see that Comedy Central
has decided to air the revealing of Cartman's father's identity almost
a month early due to angry mobs of South Park fans who didn't find their
Terrence and Phillip April Fools joke to be at all amusing. So look for
the episode to air Wednesday the 22nd at 10 pm. (You all are a bunch of
F'ing whiners.)
ALBUM OF THE WEEK! Go out and buy the Barenaked Ladies CD, "Rock Spectacle," or one of their older CDs. Also go buy the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy self-titled album. MOVIE OF THE WEEK! The movie of the week is a classic late 80s film. "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure." If you haven't seen it, where the hell have you been? Go rent it, be excellent to each other, and party on, dude! WEBSITE OF THE WEEK! The website of the week goes to a bizarre little page called "The Basement." Basically, it's some guy's comic that I guess is loosely based on the life of the people around him. Some of the comics are amusing, some of them aren't -- it might be one of those you-had-to-be-there kinds of things. Nonetheless, check it out. The Basement. My,
my, my. The new episode of South Park was quite a shocker, eh? I remember
reading stuff on the Internet by skeptical fans who pointed out that episode
#201 was airing on April 1st, and there was a pretty good chance that Matt,
Trey, and Comedy Central were going to play an April Fools joke on us.
Who knew?
ALBUM OF THE WEEK! Go out and buy the new Agents of Good Roots CD, "One by One." You won't be disappointed! Visit their website at http://www.agentsofgoodroots.com. MOVIE OF THE WEEK! The movie of the week goes to the 1962 western "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance." Starring John Wayne, James Stewart, and Lee Marvin. With stars like that together on the screen, who can go wrong? It's a great film with a good storyline! Rent it today! WEBSITE OF THE WEEK! This week's website of the week goes to Paul Adam's page titled "Paul's Page." He is a student at University of Missouri-Columbia. Check out his comic strip he draws for the university's newspaper, The Commuter, it's really good! Go now! http://www.missouri.edu/~c693222/ Comments, criticisms, or just wanna talk? E-mail me. tbenedic@vt.edu |

$100 to the person who can tell me what's different with this page (just kidding). As you can no doubt tell, this page is going through some major reconstruction. Much to my dismay, and perhaps to yours as well, I have decided to change my focus from South Park to other interests that I have. In other words, I have changed BEEFCAKE! into a more personal home page -- but I'll still feature South Park stuff. Let me know what you think of the new format, by e-mailing me at tbenedic@vt.edu. Please use the link provided here to send me your thoughts, because I have set it with a specific subject line so that I'll know that the messages are coming from visitors to my page. Thanks. |
