And we gotta thank those wonderful doctors for helping him get better!  THANK YOU!!!!

"That's not our main concern, getting Eric back," said linemate John LeClair.  "Our main concern is getting Eric healthy.''

NHLPA has a video from his press conference

The Press Conference (Thanks Natasha!)
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Eric Lindros hasn't ruled out returning to the Philadelphia Flyers for the NHL playoffs, though he said his status will be determined by what doctors say about his recovery from a collapsed lung.
"The worst-case scenario is I don't come back until September. But I think because of the jump-start we had here and the good care here, I might be on my way back much sooner than that," Lindros said today at a news conference at Baptist Hospital.
Lindros, who was admitted last Friday, planned to check out this afternoon and fly back to Philadelphia.
Lindros appeared weak. He was pale and coughed intermittently during the news conference. Still, he said he is "getting better every day."
His brother Brett, who has been with him since Saturday, said if there is any way Lindros can play and not risk further injury, he will.
"You know Eric. He always wants to play," he said.
Doctors have said Lindros will need at least 3-4 weeks to regenerate the blood he lost during the ordeal that began with an injury last Thursday in a 2-1 victory over the Nashville Predators. The playoffs begin April 21.
"I think we have to go with the assumption that he's not going to be back," Flyers general manager Bob Clarke said Wednesday. "We have to prepare that way and play that way. We can't sit and hope and hope and hope. With that serious an injury, who knows?"
Asked if Lindros would miss all of the playoffs or only the first round, Clarke said, "When the doctors say he can play, he can play. That's the way it's going to be."
Lindros, one of the toughest players and most dominant scorers in the NHL, has endured all kinds of injuries in his career. But this was much more serious than some of the most common maladies in the hard-hitting sport.
His collapsed lung, which filled with about six pints of blood, was termed life-threatening if it hadn't been treated.
Lindros has said he didn't realize anything was wrong until hours after the game.  "He didn't recognize the seriousness of his injury. His pain threshold is so high," Dr. Richard Garman of the Predators said today.
Lindros' father and agent, Carl Lindros, said Wednesday he is concerned his son might feel pressure to return to the ice before he is physically ready.
"I have to wait for the doctors to convince me that he is going to be playing in the near future," he said. "Eric is going to make the final decision."
Flyers physician Dr. Jeff Hartzell spoke with Lindros' father this week and reassured him nothing would be done to jeopardize his son's health."
