Follow-onChem 151 and Math 100 are prerequisites for Chem 200. Chem 151 is equivalent to Chem 105 at SDSU.

Description
Chemistry 151 is a one-semester preparatory course in chemistry consisting of an intensive study of some of the principles of inorganic and physical chemistry. This course is based on a mathematical problem-solving approach, and is intended for those students who are planning to take Chemistry 200 and majoring in one of the natural sciences, engineering, or related curricula.

Lab Manual
Daphne Figueroa, Chemistry 151 Instructional Packet. Available at Mira Mesa Copy Center, 9357 Mira Mesa Blvd., 578-0941. (Mira Mesa Copy Center is located in the shopping center near Burger King at the corner of Black Mountain Road and Mira Mesa Blvd. Its hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays.)
Calculator
Programmable calculators are not allowed on quizzes or the final. You will need a calculator that can do basic arithmetic, logarithms, and scientific notation. (Recommended: TI-30 or equivalent.) If you can enter words or letters into your calculator, don't bring it to this class.
