SPORTS

Let it be known: I am the world's biggest sports fan

My favorites are:

Pro Football (Click to goto NFL.com - a great site)

I love the Philadelphia Eagles (poor Eagles) and Kansas City Chiefs. Oddly enough, Mark Brunell and Randall Cunningham (since way back when). Jim McMahon was my childhood hero, and I got to meet him. It was very exciting.

I also play fantasy football. To read more, click the blue stuff. Here!!

Pro Hockey (Click to goto NHL.com - also a great site)

My favorite teams are the Philadelphia Flyers and Dallas Stars. I think they will meet in the Stanley Cup this year. The Flyers have Beezer, the Stars have Hull.
WOW. My favorite player is Eric Lindros (center for the Flyers). I'm also interested in starting a fantasy hockey league, and doing a hockey playoff pool (similar to an NCAA pool, only dealing with hockey). If interested email me (address below).

Both the Stars and Flyers won last night! Eric Lindros had a goal, making that a goal in four straight games. Both teams are off to a great start. Brett Hull has five points, but is yet to net a goal. I have a feeling that won't last much longer.

Soccer (Click to go to ESPNs soccer page - it's great)

My favorite is Italian Premier League (called Serie A). My favorite team is Juventus of Tiran. As far as I'm concerned, they're the best club team in the world. They are the home of my favorite player: Alessandro del Piero. He's a striker, and he's absolutely amazing. I also follow English Premier League, and predict that Arsenal will repeat as champs. The Gunners outscored both Manchester United and Liverpool by 3-0 margins.

To Mom and Dad: I have a new request for my college graduation present. I'm giving you four years advance warning, so I really think there shouldn't be a problem. I want a trip to Japan in 2002 for the World Cup. You could provide plane tickets, accomodations, and some money (and game tickets if you wanted). That's my request.

Hoquetball (Click to read the Hoquetball rules)

Hoquetball is the combination of tennis, hockey, and raquetball. It was inspired by the cinematic masterpiece (yes, i'm kidding) known as Baseketball. Matt McDougall and I put this together in my driveway. It is truly a great game, and we have hopes that one day the HGA (Hoquetball Gaming Association) will be as prestigious as leagues like the NFL, NBA, and NHL. More likely, it is doomed to remain on it's current level, rivaling the MLS.

For all of those and more, visit ESPNs site. It is the best sports site I've come across. Click here.

Also, I am always interested in sports debates. If you absolutely disagree, or have a "hot sports opinion," email me.
