Petit Jean Outing




One weekend in October, Molly, Andria and I went up to Petit Jean State Park and spent all day Saturday there. We woke up, grabbed some sandwiches from Subway, loaded the car and headed up there. We had a picnic lunch and went on two hiking trails! We had a lot of fun and took a lot of pictures. While we were hiking, we saw some beautiful views from some overlooks. Here are just some of the pictures. Hope you enjoy!!!



This is Andria and Molly finishing up lunch. This is where we ate our picnic lunch, right by this really pretty lake. It was fun but it got kinda cold!!!

This is a better view of the creek that ran under the bridge. It was so pretty and was a nice spot for us to rest!!



This is Molly and I sitting on this rock. This was also taken along one of the trails that we hiked.



This is me in front of this waterfall that we hiked down to see. We were hiking along this one trail and we could see the waterfall below us and so we turned around to find out how to get to the waterfall. We eventually figured out which trail to take and made it down to the waterfall. It was so pretty down there.
