I’m writing to seek a new graduate position within your department where I can contribute my talents and further expand my skills. I will graduate from Electrical Engineering, specialized in hardware/software development for communications at the University of Manitoba, expected graduation date is May 2000.

I have gained a solid understanding of network architectures, LAN/WAN protocols, topologies through my Internship at Nortel Networks as a network planner. I have a high interest in hardware design. Some of my 4^th year courses are VLSI design, Microprocessor Interfacing for Real Time systems. I’m familiar with the computer architectures and interprocessor’s communication. Furthermore, I’m also proficient and continuous learning structured C++ and Java, as well as real time object oriented development and design.

My strengths are exemplified through creative, systematic approach to complex problem solving and design. In addition, I’m self motivated and goal oriented. I possess strong desire to learn and to get ahead. I strongly believe I could be a great asset to your company if given a chance. Although I do not have many related experience working in the field, with my determination I believe I will overcome any difficulties within a short period of time.
