The Nautical Club of Hammam Sousse, situated in the region of Sousse in Tunisia, is a local youth association, under tutelage of the Tunisian sail federation. It has been created in 1985 by the Tunisian Youth Economic Chamber
.
- To popularize nautical sports among youths,
- to Inculcate to them olympic values and the athletic spirit,
to Promote and to make raise these sports in Tunisia.
Activities
:- Since the creation of our club, our youths adherents have been committed to notice several challenges. After 13 years of existence and work, the statement is encouraging.
- Our Club has organized and animated several athletic manifestations and internships of national or local drawn to scale training.
- By their participation to manifestations and to internships of training, our youths, have accessed to very important titles (medals, championships. ..). We remind that the national selection counts two players from our Club.
The adherents
:- We frame currently 45 players (boys and girls) and several other persons that want to practice in nautical sports.
- Our strategy is based on the development of the number of participants and to reach 200 adherents to the eve of the year 2001.For that we work in coordination with local associations, enterprises and hotels so as to favor the integration of youths to nautical sports, to animate beaches frequented by tourists and to find the average financiers for our activities.
Our next activities will be following
:- The organization of a national tournament in margin of the local festival of Hammam Sousse during the Summer season.
- Organization of an internship of training of 7 days for about ten of our players.
- To participate in the different internships organized by the federation entering within the framework preparations to Mediterranean games Tunisia 2001.
