Hey gang!
Are you all ready for a beautiful long weekend?
Don't forget to pray for the Confirmation candidates -- the sacrament will be celebrated at our parish on Sunday @ 2pm.



And for those of you who are receiving Confirmation, we will be praying for you - May the Holy Spirit fill your hearts to be your guidethroughout life.

Well, it feels like summer is already here. I have some dates for upcoming summer events, so mark your calendars now! Please share this information with other youth members and your friends at school.

AWAKENINGS - Friday, May 28 and Friday, June 25 @ 7:30pm. Street Patrol - Our youth group scheduled dates are Wedneday, July 28 and Wednesday, August 25. Street Patrol begins on Wed June 2 and you are welcome to go at any time. Just call Lucio at 738 9197 to let him know if you plan to attend.

BEAT mass - Saturday, June 19; 5pm mass, 6pm concert @ St. Andrew Kim parish, 840 Don Mills Road Jean Vanier Retreat - July 8-12.

For youth ages 16-26, @ John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. $150.00 US includes lodgings and meals for 5 day event. Check out the website atwww.geocities.com/Heartland/Lane/8677

OCY Leadership Team Canoe Trip - July 15-19 in Algonquin Park. Only 10 spots for this! Open to any young person in the diocese. Let me know if you are interested.


Catholic Youth Week
Friday, August 13, 7:05pm - Blue Jays Day (vs Oakland) $5.00 per ticket.
Monday, August 16, 7-10pm - Beach Volleyball Tourney.
Wednesday, August 18 - Evening Prayer in our own Parish.
Thursday, August 19 - Semi-formal @ Le Parc Banquet hall $25.00 ticket before July 31.
Friday, August 20 - Canada's Wonderland $26.00 day pass
Sunday, August 22 - Archdiocesan Pilgrimage. Mass at 11am at the Martyrs' Shrine.
And coming to an archdioces near you, not too far off into the future...WORLD YOUTH DAY - Rome 2000 Yes it is coming very soon. We will be having an information night in the next couple of weeks.
