“Tau Beta Sigma, for Greater Bands”



Tau Beta Sigma is a National Honorary Sorority for Bands Women. It is an organization that serves the community as well as the band. At Stephen F. Austin State University, the Beta Zeta chapter does many projects including giving water and drinks to the members of the Lumberjack Marching Band at practices and games, cleaning up our adopted section of US Highway 259, setting up and tearing down the stage after concerts, working with the Girl Scouts, and helping out at the Special Olympics.

We hold candidacy for TBS in the Spring semester only because marching band takes up so much time during the Fall. To become a candidate of Tau Beta Sigma, just come to our rush activities! See the Candidacy page to get a schedule of events.
