What is ISA?

International Students Association (ISA) is an organization committed to helping international students by:

easing the problems experienced on starting college in the US

In the past ISA has invited guest speakers to talk
about various topics of interest to international
students, such as long distance shipping.

promoting interactions with dometic students through activities
ISA organizes many activities throughout the year.
International students and domestic students are
encouraged to attend, thus increasing contact between
them. Examples are ski trips, laser tag and the Cedar
           Point trip

exposing various cultures to eachother and the community
Towards the end of the spring semester ISA organizes
           International Night,a Tri-State tradition since 1971.
Countless people work hard to make this night a success.
The evening includes entertainment from the various
cultures represented by ISA as well as their food and
fashions. Many people from the community attend this
           event

giving them a voice in campus matters

ISA gives international students the opportunity to elect
their representative in the student senate. We also
work towards defending the interests of the international
           community.

General meetings are held periodically throughtout the year.
Dates will be posted on the web page and through email.

ISA elections are held towards the end of the spring semester. Country representatives must be present to vote.
