The secretary
organised a 10 mile walk through the grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse for her local
walking group, visiting the main follies, the crypt in the old church, the bear
pit and ending the day with a meal at "The Rockingham Arms". Visiting the Mausoleum
and Hoober Stand has to be arranged through the Estate Office and there is a small
entrance fee. |
