Lake Quinsigamond which divides Worcester and Shrewsbury Massachusetts, is the home to many crews in the region. Every year the Eastern Sprints and New England Championships are held here. Worcester State College, Worcester Public High Schools, Clark University and Assumption College row out of Regatta Point. Last Fall the announcer at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston called Regatta Point a "veritable landmark in rowing history" when the Worcester Public Schools 4 rowed by. Holy Cross College, WPI, St John's High School and Shrewsbury High School row out of the Donahue Rowing Center.
