We don't read and write poetry because it's cute.  We read and write peotry because we are members of the human race and the human race is filled with passion.  Medicine, law, business, engineering.  These are all noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life.  But poetry, beauty, romance, love.  These are what we stay alive for.

I realize that I didn't give credit to most of the quotes and poems on here.  That's because most of them were found on the web and I either didn't write down the author or the author wasn't listed.  A few were forwarded to me by friends and I would like to give them credit: Anthony Yu, William Assande and Aimee Saccio (better Ray?).  If you have anything good that you'd like me to put up here, just let me know.  I have plenty more but I do pick and choose the good ones, so don't send me in everything you've ever seen written someplace before.  Actually try and read it to see if it pertains to any of the themes I have going.  I know... reading.  I might be asking a lot, but do me this lil favor, ok?  =)
