Day 2, Monday

Kjetil’s mom had to go to work early in the morning. She leaves around 6:30 . We got up around 7:15 and Kjetil’s dad made us breakfast. We had coffee, bread, ham and tomatoes, shrimp paste etc. We took a shower and waited for Anne Marit so we could go into town. Kjell showed pictures of his boat that he had build and other pictures. When Anne Marit came home, we left and went downtown Bergen .

It was a wonderful day. Warm and sunny. It seemed that Bergen welcomed me. We walked and looked at shops. I was so curious. I liked what I saw. It would be fun playing house for real when we shop for our house. There were  a lot of people around. It was quite dirty. I am surprised to see so much litter around. People just throw cups, bags, wrappers. I was very disappointed to see that.

Kjetil and I went to a bar and had a beer. We sat outside in the sun and I wrote postcards.

Later, after about six hours of  walking, we had Cinnamon rolls and I had some coffee.

Then we came home and  had food. Kjetil’s parents had already eaten since we were late and Anne Marit warmed the food for us.

I took a one hour nap and woke up wonderfully refreshed. Then we went to visit Arne, Kjetil’s cousin. It was a short nice visit. Norwegian apartments are very nice. Nicer than American. The floors are mostly wood. The furniture is really nice. The wood is natural finish.

Then we came home and went to bed.
