Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded on April 20, 1898 at the State Female Normal School (now merged with Longwood College) in Longwood, Virginia. The eight strong founding women came together with only a determination to create a sisterhood bond. This bond has stood the test of time and Sigma Sigma Sigma has been a proud sorority for over 101 years. Now a National Sorority and member of the Panhellenic Council, TriSigma boasts a high membership total which continues to grow daily. |
TriSigma's national headquarters still maintains its Southern roots with its Woodstock, Virginia location. The TriSigma Women, however, gather their roots from around the United States (as well as various other countries) and from every heritage, culture, race and religion and ethnicity. It is this sisterhood diversity which truely makes TriSigma a special sorority. |
