Why Third Eye?
It's about vision beyond consciousness. We have two eyes that can look around and see what's going on in our communities, but it's our Third Eye (our mind's eye) that can see a way to make changes.
We are that eye.
Who Controls Third Eye?
Third Eye is run by youth for the benefit of youth. When it really comes down to it, no one else is
watching our backs-- we've got to look out for each other, ensure our own future.
Third Eye is composed of some of the members in the African American Student Union
at the University of California, San Diego, and therefore is totally run by minority youth. We do, however, have well-experienced advisors to turn to. If you have any questions or comments about Third Eye please contact us directly, or sign our guestbook:
