National Institute of Expressive Therapy

2 YEAR ONLINE PROGRAM IN EXPRESSIVE THERAPY

The focus of the 2 year program in expressive therapy is on the use of more contemporary arts, e.g., performance art. The primary emphasis is on interpersonal dynamics.

The Institute may accept up to 9 transfer credits from appropriate institutions or special programs. At least some exposure to both individual and group expressive therapy or other related therapy is recommended. Students can enter the program at any time. 10 hours of online, video, or onsite instruction equal 1 credit. Students are expected to complete a total of 50 outside hours (reading, research, etc.) for every 3 credit course. A minimum 2 day residency per year at conferences or other events where Institute courses are offered is suggested where feasible.
