Bodybuilding

I starting going to the gym just before I left school. I'm quite lucky in that I seem to have the right genes. I've always had a resonably athletic build, but it was never built upon until I took it a bit more seriously.

I don't think of myself as a bodybuilder, in that I don't compete or strive for maximum mass and definition. I generally just try to keep my body in a lean and fit state. I've concentrated on my diet over the past two years, and this has helped with definition, although I'm not obsessive about what I eat! I can be seen pigging out my face pretty often!

My favourite body parts are my thighs and abdominals. I've had to work very hard at these two muscle groups. On average I do 300 sit-ups every day to get the "six-pack" effect. Once you've mastered it, you can never go back. It's the one part of the male body that people are most impressed with when it's well developed.
