I live in Northampton MA. I moved here about a year and a half ago to be near my folks, following my mom's stroke in 1997. I had spent the previous 27  years in Columbia, MO.  Two months ago, my parents moved back (from here) to NJ.  I, however, am not moving again.  Not any time soon, anyway.  And certainly not to NJ!!! 

I'm an RN, with a specialty in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  I currently work in an OB/GYN practice as the Infertility Coordinator  And, gratefully, I love my work!! 

I'm divorced. I have one child, a daughter (and best friend), Jenny.  She is 27 and lives in the DC area, though she's threatening to move to New York for grad school. 

My first half-century has been pretty good.  And though the last few years have certainly been challenging (responding to my parents' aging), I'm settling into my new life, now, with some enthusiasm.
