They are the closest people I was with for the last few years. We skipped classes together, we worked overnight at the lab together, we played basketball together, we cooked/ate together, and we "bs" together ...

To me, I really treasure all of them, and I definitely will remember every single one of them ...

UWCDC is "University of Waterloo Chinese Debate Club", and it is a chinese student organization founded by 4 U of Waterloo students: Me, Henry, Cheuk, and Jennifer (Tam). We promote chinese debate in Ontario, and we also publish a chinese student magazine at the university. This extracurricular activity played an important role to my university life. I learned a lot from it, and I also knew a whole lot of very close friends from here.

OCDA is "Ontario Chinese Debate Alliance", a provincial chinese debate organization closely related to our club. Since UWCDC is a member club of the alliance, I was lucky to be worked in the alliance for a year. During this year, I worked with students from other universities throughout Ontario and we organized the Ontario Intercollegiate Chinese Debate Competition. Throughout this job I learned, again, a lot of stuff and knew another bunch of good friends. We are not working partners only, but we also go out and have fun together ...

There are also some friends I knew from university that are neither my CS buddies nor UWCDC buddies. Some of them are my basketball friends, and some of them are my classmates when I was in Accounting. Although I haven't contact some of them for a long long time, they are still one of my great great friends in my heart !

I was not very outgoing when I was in high school in Toronto, since I was just immigrated to Canada. At that time, I was just thinking of going back to Hong Kong all the time so I am not into the school here a lot. Luckily I know a few good friends that I can talk to, and I can also share my thoughts with them.

QES (Queen Elizabeth School) is the secondary school I attend when I was in Hong Kong. I studied there from S.1 to S.4. Uptill now, I can say that these 4 years are the most enjoyable time in my life so far. The friendships I have created with my best friends in QES are the most valuable things in my heart. To me, they are pure, and they will keep pure in my heart, with a lot of undescribable sweet memories I have been through with my QES buddies here ...

Although I left them for 7 years already, I still keep in contact with a lot of them. In the summer of 1999, I went back to Hong Kong and met a lot of them too !

Although I am not a Christian (yet), they do not treat me as an "outsider" and being very nice to me.
