Volunteer programs
There are at least 3 different kinds of volunteering activities:
On the bank of a picturesque lake "Lesnaya Skazka"(Forest Tale):
- Ecological work;
- Work with children in a children's camp together with English-, French- or German-speaking counsellors.
This children camp has close connections with American camps in Florida and the programs in use are the result of international educational and pedagogical exchange.
The camp is situated in the pine-tree forest and faces a beautiful warm lake. Though the place is ecologically clean, nevertheless it has to be kept up nice and safe for children.
Those who are interested in promoting or participating in ecological work will be expected and welcomed there.
On the bank of the Volga river:
- Restoration work in the Castle Scheremetyevo
(built in the end of the 18th century), a very historical place
which was visited by many Russian outstanding people.Though this castle is included into the Federal Program on restoring historical monuments the current economic situation doesn't allow the government to keep this program running.
The Castle is decaying and any help will be appreciated. We especially expect those who have some qualification in construction work.
The program is in action all year round.
All three camps are situated in the most picturesque places of the central part of Russia.
That is why we are willing to show all the sights that are near the places the volunteers work at.
We offer visiting the most famous lakes, riding motorboats up and down the Volga, fishing, swimming, and entertaining programs.
