The New Kasr El-Eini

The
Kasr El-Eini Hospital served as the first Egyptian School of Medicine since
1837.
Founded by Barthelemy Clot Bek
the French Surgeon who was at this time Chief Surgeon and
Physician of the Egyptian Army.
The New Kasr El-Eini Teaching Hospital was rebuilt on the
same site of the Old School of
Medicine and reopened in 1996 as one of the state of the art
Hospitals in Egypt & the Middle
East.
