In the summer of 2003 my family and I spent a good part of our summer vacation camping at Algonquin Park. It was our first summer "exploring" the park by land and water. What a treat it was. I was inspired to design this page by the wonderful things I saw while visiting the park. It was the first time I had ever seen a moose in my life. As well, I had the opportunity to hike all the hiking trails located in the park. Some of my favorites were Centennial Ridges and Mizzy Lake. Both of these trails require a very early start and a good pair of hiking shoes. Be sure to bring your camera where ever you go as you never know what kind of surprises will lie ahead.
