Delta Upsilon Fraternity
University of Louisville

 Chapter Information

Delta Upsilon, the sixth oldest men's college fraternity, was founded at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts on November 4, 1834. Delta Upsilon now encompasses over 90 chapters in the U.S. and Canada. It was the first non-secret fraternity in existence and continues still today to be an innovator in the Greek world.

What today is known as Delta Upsilon at the University of Louisville, is the oldest fraternity on campus operating continuously until this day. We were founded as Sigma Chi Sigma Fraternity, and then on January 8, 1949, became an official chapter of Delta Upsilon.

To the left is an older picture of our chapter house. On the right, we have a group picture of everyone in front of the house.

The Delta Upsilon Chapter house is located at 2718 S. 3rd Street, just south of campus. This house we obtained in 1994 after moving off of the University of Louisville campus.

To your left is our chapter picture from 1994.
