Warning!!

This would be me, attempting to climb a rock without proper climbing aids. I wouldn't try this at home, eh, cos it hurt my hands like crazy. The use of better shoes would've been nice too. My biceps are exceptionally large, but as you can see, my buns are not that impressive.

  • Who Is Clyde?
  • As of June 9, 2003, I became 27 years old. I grew up in Delta Junction, Alaska :( pretty much a good portion of my earlier days, a large chunk of my latter years (between 1994-today) I have lived in Fairbanks.

I have strange-colored reddish-brown hair and even stranger colored blue-green eyes. I height in at 6'2", weigh in at 225# (this figure varies between 210-225), and I am rather active.

  • What Is Clyde?
  • I am currently attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks where I major in Natural Resource Management. When I'm not schooling, I usually do firefighting with the Alaska Department of Natural Resources in Delta Junction. I am currently looking for employment. :( Nobody on campus wants to hire me. The relations department has it in for me.

A bunny hugger: As proclaimed by one of my instructors.

A lot of rabbits visit some of my properties and they eat tons of dandelions, weed seeds, and weeds that would otherwise germinate and proliferate... like bunnies. They're great creatures, they consume weeds and in turn, doo-doo on the yard providing an exellent fertilizer. Their doodoo's resemblence to A Leading Brand of Cereal makes for some Fear Factor like pranks/stunts.

  • What Does Clyde Like To Do?
  • Who do I, let me rephrase that. What does I like, er, let's try that again. What do I like to do?

Volleyball: I like to play more than I like to watch, but I do both on my spare time. My position ideal position would be outside hitter, I used to hate the back row but that has changed recently. I dug up a couple of really good players' spike attempts and I got a charge from it.

Waterpolo: What I like about waterpolo is; if I'm having a really good game, I can score (make a goal) and tell everyone when I get home 'Wow, I scored tonight/last night/on Tuesday etc.' Waterpolo involves intense cardiovascular activity and good swimming skills, neither of which are my strong-suits. If I get a nice pass in the game, I can use my spiking ability from volleyball to spike the ball into the net, that's the fun part. The other fun part is trying to stay afloat. Man! I'm in bad shape (for waterpolo)!

Hockey: I like to play and watch, watch more than play. It hurts like hell to get rammed into the boards by a guy that's 6'5" 225 lbs. I'd rather see them get checked into the boards than be their victim. Plus, I like to make fun of the penalties:

Another thing I do is collect coins from the '60s. They're usually taken out of circulation after 30 years and I wanna save them for posterity sake. At last count, I have a decent sum of money from the '60s, it takes a long time to collect these coins so by 2010, I should have 200 yen worth of 60's coins. ;) I've actually exceeded that figure by about $50 as of January 2002.

Elsewhere, I write mini-reviews for the 6 shows that I watch on TV. 5 are from NBC and one is from ABC. In no particular order, I discuss:

  • Friends: Will change in 2004-2005 for obvious reasons
  • ER
  • Crossing Jordan
  • Law & Order: Criminal Intent
  • Scrubs
  • Less Than Perfect

I used to write reviews for Good Morning, Miami but it's been on hiatus since December. It may or may not come back temporarily in May. I know, I know, that's 4.5 hours of TV in a week!

That's enough on me, now go back to My Pad
