Shawn W. McNaughton

When I started my quest to further my business knowledge at the University of Northern British Columbia, DVD’s did not exist, cellular phones were hard to come by, and a 20 megabyte program was almost unheard of.  Who would have thought that hundreds of millions of people would be connected to the Internet?  Obviously somebody did.

Now, five years later, I have learned to appreciate the world for what it is; a giant realm of opportunities.  Those that realize a need early and are willing to put in the effort, will succeed.

As a recent marketing and finance graduate, I am continuously looking for those new and exciting opportunities.  I am the founder and manager of UNBC’s men’s and women’s soccer teams.  I am also a founding member of the Athletic Advisory Committee at the University, which attempts to give direction for developing athletes and their teams at the University. 

As an active member of the Business Society at UNBC, I have represented UNBC at the Western Canada Business Games and at the UBC Commerce Roundtable.
