Welcome to The Tom Pages at www.geocities.com/subspacetom -- a constantly changing, dynamic spot where you can stop, explore, and maybe get something out of it. You'll find stories, pictures, and adventures plastered all over this site. Enjoy!

(Sorry about the Yahoo pop-up ads... you get what you pay for!)

The Tom Pages are what I hope to make of it -- fun, not boring and typical; informative, not boring and typical; and nice to look at, not boring and typical. Do you see a pattern?

Departments

About Tom:
This is a whiteboard on perspectives about a wide range of subjects. It's in this section where you'll find another selection of pages to peruse, including college, friends, career, and more.

Beyond:
This is the fun section. Interesting things on the 'Net, sites to visit, etc., are found here. Believe me, I aim to make sure this goes "beyond" the usual link to Yahoo!

Project:
In the summer of 1997 65 college students converged on Lake Tahoe, CA/NV. Find out why -- as many have done; this section currently ranks #1 in popularity out of all my pages in recent history. (And I keep it here since people are still checking it out!)

Talk To Me:
Send your comments and feedback! This form makes it easy to do so. A selection of past visitor comments is available on this page as well.

Special Features
You can find these pages when you explore the Departments, but in case you miss them or want to go to them directly, here they are:

Scenes:
A collection of life in pictures, ranging from unique to the more unique... 14 pictures are up so far. There could always be more...

Arizona Adventures
A picture gallery detailing some recent adventures in Arizona. Hosted by GatherRound.com, you can peruse the photo album with descriptions of each picture. Kind of like story time...

Spring Break Travels:
Going to Los Angeles over Spring Break sounds like a great way to go. What kept us coming back year after year? Strangely enough, the answer is in the inner city...

Headphone Amplifier:
This is our final project in EE498: Consumer Electronics, completed on June 1st 1998. We designed and built a headphone amplifier, and tested it out, with good results. If anyone wants to buy our product, we'll consider offers!

What's New?
11.16.01 -- Well, the ".com" name lasted for just a year, so it's back to the plain 'ol Geocities address. Hopefully I'll update the site sometime as well.

9.25.00 -- www.thetompages.com is live! Sure, Geocities has cleaned up their naming act, but its so much more snappy to be a ".com".

9.25.00 -- Arizona Adventures added. Look for more GatherRound albums in the future!

12.21.99 -- UW says goodbye to the old account. Welcome to Geocities! Hope you don't mind the ads on here. I know you really came here for the content of the tom pages.

10.18.99 -- Uh oh! The UW could pull the plug on hosting this site real soon. Watch for a server move in the near future... you might notice some unfortunate pop-up ads, but then again, that's the price you pay for free web hosting.

8.6.99 -- Added some more pictures to the Scenes section... with more the way, this section might have to reorganize. Also added some more to the Friends section, since I knew I had more friends than that...

5.31.99 -- Revised the opening paragraph. It was sort of bland -- I think I put the original stuff there as a placeholder. More pages coming soon!

5.19.99 -- Additional links of interest added to the Beyond section. More pictures are coming soon...

4.1.99 -- A new section, Spring Break Travels, was added in place of the old Spring Break '98 pages. This new section now covers three years of L.A. fun in the Spring!

3.29.99 -- Several new pictures were added to the Scenes section.

3.29.99 -- This What's New section was started. As the site continues to grow you'll know where the freshest material is!
