| Hi everyone! I am a senior at The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. Along with studying in school, volunteering, and raising my little girl who will be six in January, I love to play the violin and piano, listen to music and spend quality time with my closest friends and family. Now that I am the Community Service Director for GANS, I am able to reach out into the community in a way like never before. I plan to work hand-in-hand with my fellow board members. I am also very excited to work with the Department of Health, Places of Worship and Elementary Schools to better the health of our families, from old to young. Since serving as the Government Scholar of the Department of Health this past summer in New York City, I not only feel adequate but sufficient; like I now have the tools to carry out my vision. This will be an incredible year! I look forward to every moment of it. |
