| Greetings! Are you ready for a big year? Be on the look out for your district meetings, COSP, the 2nd annual fundraising golf tournament, the 2004 GANS Convention at Callaway Gardens, NSNA national convention in Nashville, TN, GANS scholarships, the new Promise of Nursing Scholarship (available through NSNA to GANS members) and much, much more. Dates and updated info along with new ways to contact the board is all on our national award-winning website (www.gansinfo.com). If you would like to receive information directly from the GANS board regarding new opportunities and activities, please email me directly at noel_lawson@msn.com. We are listening to you! Please contact any of us with any concerns or questions. Your school should receive a visit from one of the state board members at least one time this year. If you would like for more visits, please remember that we can be invited to any of your meetings or events. Many organizations will be hearing from GANS this year. We will be bringing many resolutions to NSNA during national convention. We will bring your concerns to the Georgia Nurses Association's (GNA) Legislative Reception, as well as, working on mentor programs, such as GEM-Nursing. Please help us to keep in touch with you. Let us know what projects you are having at your school and send pictures and articles to include in the EKG.
