In the world today, there are more seemingly insurmountable problems blockading the younger generation from achieving the paradigm of the American Dream than there have ever been. The fading talisman of that promise imbues the young with a sense of hopelessness, its only respite derived from the knowledge that today's youth are more determined, more inspired and more capable to challenge the world than those who came before them. Here are some worthy organizations whose efforts take the first steps towards those goals.

The Southern Poverty Law Center The SPLC fights the proliferation of hate groups by taking them to court. The lawyers at the SPLC illustrate how the legal profession can be truly noble work.
